About Kenge Village Tropical Retreat❗
Kenge Village is an architecturally designed pavilion home inspired by the warmth of an African village and infused with Balinese artistry.
The design draws inspiration from traditional Congolese villages, which are often centred around shared communal spaces such as watering holes. At Kenge Village, this concept has been reimagined with the swimming pool as the central feature – creating a naturally cooler, relaxed space ideal for both entertaining and unwinding.
You may notice it feels cooler inside the property than outside the gates, with the pool acting as a modern-day watering hole that helps cool the surrounding living areas.
Is Kenge Village suitable for tropical conditions?
Yes. The property is designed for tropical living, with open spaces, airflow, and shaded areas to maximise comfort year-round.
Is the swimming pool child-safe?
Children must be supervised at all times around the pool. Please follow all safety guidelines provided at the property.
What wildlife might I see?
Kenge Village is set in a natural tropical environment. You may encounter insects, geckos, frogs, or small reptiles. These are a normal part of tropical living and are harmless to humans.

Is linen provided?
Yes. We provide linen, doonas, pillows, bath towels, pool towels, bathmats, and tea towels for the number of guests booked.
